Japanese Medical Society of Alcohol and Drug Studies(JMSAS)
Introduction
The society is realized in cooperation of basic medicine, clinical medicine, social medicine, and another related field. The society's purpose is to contribute to the development of art, science, culture, and health in the world through its the emphasis on the research. The society has served as the interdisciplinary interchanges for the spreading of information for alcoholism and drug dependence.
Membership
The membership of the society consists of the regular scientific member, who consents to the society's purpose and participates in the activity, the emeritus member, who was recognized a remarkable contribution to the society by the society members, and associate member.
Annual Scientific Conference
The annual scientific conference of the JMSAS is held once per year to interact with the society's members.
Publication
JMSAS publishes (6 times a year) a scientific journal, Japanese Journal
of Alcohol Studies and Drug Dependence.

Awards
The JMSAS has honored excellent papers published in the Japanese Journal
